TechCrunch Disrupt is a three-day, single-track conference and startup competition to immerse you in the debate about what’s changing in technology right now, what’s causing it and what we need to do about it to survive and thrive in real time.

Successfully launched in New York this past May, the next chapter of the Disrupt conference series will unfold at the San Francisco Design Center Concourse, September 27-29 with over 2,000 attendees.

INNOVATOR INTERVIEWS

Half the TechCrunch Disrupt agenda consists of rapid-fire interviews and small-format panels with leading tech luminaries. We bring the experts together to talk about what’s next and why. The big changes. And the subtle trends.

Disrupt SF will explore the Third Wave—a phrase coined by John Doerr in his interview with Charlie Rose at Disrupt NYC– namely the innovations taking place with social, mobile and commerce platforms and applications.

You’ll meet the people behind the new startups, new products and new technologies driving disruption today and be part of a conversation that will stimulate and challenge you.

We mix big internet players and early-stage startups, angels and VCs, makers and managers. We ask what’s most important now, and the conversation is captivating.

You can’t afford to miss it. So secure your spot and get a ticket at our extra early-bird rate valid through July 31.

TechCrunch Disrupt is a true work hard – play hard event. We pack as much into 3 days as humanly possible to immerse you in new ideas, new startups and technology and new networks.

STARTUP BATTLEFIELD

If you’re a new startup or have a new product you want to launch at TechCrunch Disrupt, we encourage you to submit your company to compete in our Startup Battlefield.

The Startup Battlefield is a tournament-style launch platform where startups demo their products and impress the audience and panel of experts over multiple rounds of competition. Everyone gets stage time to show their stuff Monday and Tuesday.

Experts will be brought in to mentor and judge startups on product, business models, team, design and usability and more. And the final round will put startups in the hot seat to present to some of the most successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and business executives. Audience voting as well as expert feedback will factor into final competition scores.

One startup will emerge the overall winner and take home a $50,000 cash prize at the close of the conference, Wednesday afternoon, and others will receive special awards and accolades.

Applications are open through midnight PST, August 8 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Additional details and eligibility requirements are here.
